Dumire Technologies, in partnership with Captus Communications, LLC has created a variety of Web sites for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

AAP’s Mental Health Initiative site was created within the AAP’s main site framework. It’s purpose is to improve mental health awareness and management among primary caregivers. The design work and programming were completed by Dumire Technologies with project management and content creation performed by Captus Communications.

AAP’s Richmond Center Web site seeks to eliminate children’s exposure to tobacco and secondhand smoke. The site was designed and developed by Dumire Technologies with content writing performed by Captus Communications.

A client contacted Dumire Technologies for a promotional animation for a rugby team. It quickly became apparent that Adobe Flash would not be able to satisfy his request. Dumire Technologies successfully built an animation using AutoDesk’s Maya Software that exceeded all client expectations. The project phases consisted of storyboarding, modeling, lighting, rigging, animation and rendering.

Baldino’s Lock & Key Service, Inc. is a locksmith service serving the Northern Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. area. They began losing market share to locksmith scammers who were underqualified, deceptive in their business practices, and ended up costing stranded motorists more by the damage they caused. Baldino’s contacted Dumire Technologies to redesign their Web site, get their message out about the problem, and improve their search engine rankings.

Dumire Technologies implemented a redesigned site with significant input from Baldino’s stakeholders. We built a search engine friendly site and incorporated conveniences for their customers such as a store locator and a driving directions utility via Google Maps. We also embedded feature videos from CNN and other media outlets to inform customers about the threat of scammers. Most recently, we embedded Baldino’s blog into the site. The Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department (OWL) needed a redesign of their existing site that would be as exciting as the job they do, yet easy to update. Dumire Technologies along with the Fire Services Group, provided content direction and writing, Web design and development services, custom flash programming, an incident submission tool that allows uploads of both photos and incident descriptions, and an online application. The flash component was created to be dynamically populated from a database. The incident submission tool has a full-featured approval process to ensure that inappropriate content does not get posted to their live site.
