Dumire Technologies completed the launch of the Baldino’s Lock & Key Web site. The site features a store locator that leverages the power of Google Maps to find the closest Baldino’s location to the address you enter, and then gives you customized driving directions to the store.

To build this solution, we first calculated the closest location using the geocoded address entered and the latitude and longitude of Baldino’s stores. We then calculated the distance “as the bird flies” to determine the closest location. Then the two locations were submitted to Google servers for driving directions.

The end result is an easier way for Baldino’s customers to locate their nearest retail location and get there quickly and easily.

Dumire Technologies pushed the limits of blogger functionality. Dumire Technologies is currently building entire sites with the content area fully editable by simple modifications to blogger entries. Utilizing the Google Data API and the power of ASP.Net, we dynamically consume the blogger entries and add them into your site’s template hosted on the Web server. The advantage is, that anyone who can write a blog on Blogger, can now populate and maintain their own Web site without paying a developer for simple text edits.
